Appreciating your words, and perspective. My mother moved from France to the US over 55 years ago and she STILL talks about feeling neither are home, and sometimes both are. (I am pretty sure she’s settled, in the way you speak of here:)

The notion of "home" definitely evolves over time. I moved to France from the US more than 25 years ago, and I tend to look at home as more of a "feeling" than a "place" now.
